The Truth of a Lie

Why is the truth so difficult to find in America? 

Because it hides behind massive lies 

by the obscenely obese and rich corporations 

for whom greed is a godly sacrament 

and the foundation for a capitalist philosophy

where truths get shunted into prison 

and replaced by half-truths and propaganda 

by the mainstream media potentates 

in collaboration with US government policies.
