World Bully

Bullies seem to select their victims 

from the apparently weak 

but tend to be cowards if resisted 

to withdraw or fight back. 

Now the US doesn't attack an enemy 

that can retaliate 

preferring to recruit mercenaries ISIS

as its proxy army. 

Lieutenant Calley's platoon slaughtered 

women and infants in Vietnam 

the planes bombed villages with napalm 

and shelled white phosphorus. 

They uses the Monsanto herbicide

Agent Orange  that continues 

to cause horrific birth abnormalities

without accepting culpability. 

Nixon and Kissinger bombed Hanoi

with B52's to rubble  

in the obsolete cause of conciliation 

designed to founder.  

In the end Ho Chi Minh's Viet Cong 

proved superior 

to the might from the United States 

about to retreat. 

They lined up at a Saigon rooftop

fleeing in helicopters 

to their aircraft carrier then ditching 

them into the ocean.
