Recriminations

Consciousness is a state of moral perplexity

condemning and defending vociferously 

making imaginary enemies and token allies 

allowing children to be sexually abused 

portraying corruption as finer than socialism 

by allowing truth to be defeated by a lie 

and electing crooks as American presidents.
